Welcome to British Gymnastics

One of the many benefits of being a registered member of British Gymnastics is that we arrange insurance designed to protect you whilst you are taking part in the sport.

This website provides you with details about the insurance cover and how to make a claim, whether you are a gymnast, coach, judge or someone responsible for running a club.

Please note we are not involved in the process of renewing British Gymnastics Membership and you should contact your club or British Gymnastics (0345 1297129) with any queries regarding membership.

Insurance coverage provided includes:

  • Legal Liability insurance - protects BG registered clubs, members, coaches, judges should they face legal action for causing an injury to someone or damages someones property.
  • Personal Accident insurance - a range of fixed financial benefits are provided in certain circumstances, without the need to prove anyone was negligent.
  • Legal Expenses insurance - specified legal expenses cover is given, supported by a legal telephone helpline. This is for the benefit of member Clubs.
